You live one week as an ordinary person in the city. Each day you wake up, commute, work, eat, spend your evening and sleep. Keep your energy, mood, family and money up, avoid debt, and aim for a good score on Sunday. Everything runs in your browser.
Each city has nine characters with different jobs, pay and problems: a night-shift call-center or BPO agent, a driver, a small-store owner, a college student, someone saving for a job abroad, a nurse, a delivery rider (a dabbawala in Mumbai), a public school teacher and a night security guard.
Choose how to get to work: bus, train, auto or taxi, ride-hail, ferry or walking. Each has a price, a travel time and a chance of delays. Rain, floods and crowds make it worse. Arriving late cuts your pay.
Passing the fare, calling your stop, haggling with vendors, singing karaoke and your job's own challenges are small timing games. Your shift is made of three or more choices, each affecting pay and mood.
After work, visit places on the map, call family, send money home or join a savings circle. Weekly events and festivals change the week, such as typhoons in Manila or Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Diwali and monsoon red alerts in Mumbai. On Sunday your week is scored and you can unlock badges.
